The Walter R. Bauman Aquatic Center is an outdoor facility, featuring the latest in aquatic amenities. The facility includes zero-depth pool entrance, an eight lane competition pool, as well as a diving well. Other attractions at the center include two 134-foot run waterslides, interactive water play equipment, sand playground, and a concession area. The center has 11,510 square feet of water surface, holds 345,580 gallons of water, and has a patron capacity of 724 people.

  • Swim and Dive Lessons
    • Monday through Friday (June 14th - August 20th): 10:30 am - 12:45 pm
  • Open Swim and Adult Lap Swim
    • Monday through Friday (June 14th - August 20th): 1:30 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Saturday through Sunday (June 12th - August 22nd): 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Individual Admission Fees after 06:00 pm will be $2.00.

DISCOUNT TICKETS
Discount tickets for admittance during open swim programs will be available at City Hall, beginning June 1. Tickets will only be available at City Hall, and can be purchased for youth and adult admissions. The ticket cost is based on residency, and the purchase of the ticket will allow ten admissions.

SEASON MEMBERSHIP
A season membership entitles the holder to summer-long admittance during open swim programs. Membership fees are non-refundable. Memberships will be sold in accordance with the guidelines listed below. The purchase of a membership does not guarantee automatic admission to the Aquatic Center if the patron capacity has been reached. The Aquatic Center may also be closed for inclement weather and/or low attendance.


MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
Application forms and memberships, for both residents and non-residents will be available at City Hall, beginning June 1. Memberships cannot be purchased before this time and will only be available at 7426 Hubbard Ave. Proof of residency will be required.

AQUATIC CENTER CLOSINGS

  • Inclement Weather - If the air temperature is less than 60 degrees, or it is raining or lightning, the Aquatic Center will be closed.
  • Lack of Attendance - During the course of the season, the lack of attendance at the Aquatic Center may cause the closing of the Center or the closing of certain sections of the pool.
